What is time tracking?
Time tracking means recording and checking the time actually worked. A schedule contains planned staffing. Time records show how that plan was carried out. The difference matters for cost control, approval and payroll preparation.
From time worked to reviewed hours
Let employees record working time and compare it with the schedule. Assess exceptions before processing hours further. Using scheduling and time tracking in the same process prevents unusual shifts from disappearing between separate files.
Clarity for employees and managers
Employees can view hours worked and leave balances. The manager reviews the records and any changes. Agree clearly within your organisation how to correct missed clocking actions and when hours receive final approval.
Connecting to payroll
Basic exports and payroll integrations according to your setup are included in the all-in package. Which data is exchanged, with which software and when, is agreed during implementation. Also specify who checks the hours before they enter payroll.
Explore the application in your industry or discuss your process in a demo.
Frequently asked questions about time tracking

Is clocking in and out included?
Yes. Scope Workforce Planner’s all-in base rate is €4 per active employee per month, excluding VAT and including clocking. Pricing terms and available discounts are on the pricing page.
Can time tracking connect to my payroll system?
Discuss your payroll product and required data exchange. The Integrations and partners page lists the systems mentioned. Data exchange is tailored to your setup.
